🎣 Cold water bass arsenal | Picking the perfect bass jig | Combined newsletter issue

I hope you had a fantastic weekend and enjoyed last week's newsletter. For this week, I am combining the Louisiana Local sections with the Monday edition.

You can always visit the newsletter archive page for any past issues you may have missed.

Feel free to share a picture of your recent catch with me, including what you used (lures) and where you caught it and I'll share it in the newsletter.

The Louisiana Bass Nation Anglers Newsletter is now offering sponsorship and classified ad opportunities.

  • A top-level sponsor enables you to promote with an image, relevant web link, and a couple of paragraphs of text for your sales/promotional copy. The top-level promotional is $25 $15 USD.
  • The classified ad would be just a sentence or brief description with one accompanying web link. You will get the classified ad placed in both the Monday and Wednesday issues. The classified ad price is $7 $5 USD (1 payment = 2 ad displays).

Let me know if you are interested in getting your brand, product, or service promoted in the Louisiana Bass Nation Anglers Newsletter.

Interesting Bass Fishing Resources

I) I discovered a fantastic bass fishing resource on Facebook the other day and wanted to share it here in the newsletter with readers: http://ultimatebass.com/

II) I look around at all the stuff floating around on Reddit from time to time and figured some of you would get a kick out of this 'Hot Takes' on bass fishing thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/bassfishing/comments/znri7k/bass_fishing_hot_take/

Curated Content from around the Web

Here are some articles and videos I enjoyed most this past week that I found online to share with all of y'all.

(Any comments or commentary are by me. Quoted material will be surrounded by quotes. 🗒️ - Article; 🎥 - Video; 🎥/🗒️ - Hybrid)

My take: I'm all about that Strike King KVD 1.5 squarebill crankbait myself. That thing catches em now!

My take: Both are definitely 2 skills I try all the time to improve on.

My take: Sadly, I don't have much to add here since I've never honestly given either of these techniques a go. I need to tighten up!

My take: I stand corrected lol.

My take: Dragging either a Peanut Butter and Jelly or Black n Blue football jig along the bottom and kicking up the muck will surely get you bitten. Santone Lures and Motley Fishing (affiliate link) make some great football jigs.
